Ameda vs. Medela
So, in the battle of Ameda vs Medela, the Medela Pump In Style Advanced With On The Go Tote definitely comes with more features, and it appears to give you more flexibility as well.
If you are looking to save money, the Ameda is an excellent pump, and does come highly recommended as well.
Both pumps will get the job done, quickly and efficiently. The Medela pump has a slight edge of the Ameda when it comes to efficiency with the 2 step collection system.
This new technology starts the pumping session with quick, light suction, to mimic a baby’s sucking pattern to get the milk to let down. After the let down has occurred, you press the let down button which signals the pump to switch over to slower, more powerful suction. This is what quickly draws the milk out.
Both pumps are great breast pumps, so it’s up to you to decide which features you need, and the price you can pay.
